We proudly welcome our new marketing coordinator Katrina Penley! Katrina’s journey with The Registry began in January 2023 when she stepped into the role of Marketing intern while completing her final semester at Salem State University. Focused and determined, she graduated Magna Cum Laude, just a few months later in May 2023 with a Bachelor of Science in Media and Communications, specializing in Advertising. Her academic prowess didn’t stop there; she also minored in Film Studies and Health Promotion, showcasing her diverse interests and dedication to learning.

Even after earning her degree, Katrina’s passion for marketing and her dedication to The Registry persisted. She continued to intern with us, investing her time and energy into refining our marketing strategies for a remarkable 14 months. It was evident that her contributions were invaluable, and in April 2024, she made the leap from intern to a full-time Marketing Coordinator, solidifying her commitment to our team and mission.

Katrina’s journey is a testament to her relentless pursuit of excellence. During her undergraduate years, she was not only a member of the esteemed National Honors Society: Lambda Pi Eta but also played an active role in Salem State Productions, where she honed her skills in developing and producing short films. These experiences molded her into the well-rounded professional she is today, equipped with both theoretical knowledge and practical expertise.

In her current capacity as Marketing Coordinator, Katrina shoulders significant responsibilities. From crafting engaging content for various social media platforms to spearheading The Chronicles Newsletter and supporting our direct marketing endeavors aimed at institutions and colleagues, she wears multiple hats with grace and finesse. Her strategic approach, coupled with her creative flair, has already begun to make waves in enhancing our online presence and reinforcing our brand identity.

Katrina’s ascent from intern to Marketing Coordinator underscores her unwavering dedication and the remarkable talents she brings to our team. We are thrilled to welcome her aboard officially and eagerly anticipate the continued impact of her contributions as we navigate the exciting terrain ahead.
