Well wishes to Registry Member Carlos Tasso Aquino as he continues his placement as Chief Diversity Officer at Gettysburg College.

"After participating in a very well-structured selection process, I was selected to be the Interim Chief Diversity Officer for Gettysburg College in Pennsylvania," said Aquino. "A place of history and many traditions, the College has developed multiple and incredible actions for the past seven years on Diversity and Inclusion. As a country, we are currently facing challenging days in this arena, and the use of a modern approach - guided by diversity and belonging, and social justice as core values - to fostering a real inclusive education environment is a must for any institution to succeed. Consequential education is the educational approach chosen by Gettysburg College to graduate students that are ready to positively impact lives and change society for the better. I will be eternally grateful to The Registry for the opportunity provided to me to help Gettysburg College to be part of this change, while preparing the path for the person to be hired as the permanent CDO."
