On July 1, Maryrose Eannace, PhD, began a term as Interim Vice President of Academic Affairs at SUNY Jefferson Community College.
She shared, “I am thrilled to have the privilege of working with the good people of Jefferson Community College at this time of our nation’s many challenges. Community Colleges are change agents--with our hearts and minds laser-focused on education as the catalyst for social justice and student-by-student success. Through our work, we build the future of our communities. Today, perhaps more than ever before, we are called to be agile, innovative and courageous in how we guide and support our students in framing and achieving their dreams. As Interim Vice President for Academic Affairs at Jefferson Community College, I bring experience and deep commitment to team-building, shared leadership and equity. I believe we in the academic affairs arena must embrace change and be futuristically innovative in how we fulfill JCC’s mission to educate, inspire and empower every student who comes to us. I am grateful to The Registry and to President Stone and her Cabinet for helping to make this match!”
Congratulations and good luck from all of us here at The Registry
