Derrick Rowe joined The Registry as Assistant Controller in 2023. Prior to this role, Derrick was a Senior Accountant and Military Veteran with 7 years of experience in the field of accounting. During that time, Derrick managed and executed all accounting functions in fast-paced and dynamic finance divisions at Security Innovation Inc. and The Strong Group, both companies located in Massachusetts.

At The Registry, Derrick is responsible for the preparation of monthly financial reporting and key metrics; he manages Accounts Payable and Account Receivable; coordinates with external auditors; assists in the development and preparation of the annual budget; and also develops and maintains internal controls, guidelines, and procedures. 

Prior to Derrick entering the world of accounting, Derrick served in the United States Navy, for 7 years, as a Hospital Corpsman. He led, mentored, and trained a 10-person team conducting healthcare for over 1200 Marines and Sailors in support of global operations while assigned to the Logistics Division in Okinawa Japan. During Derrick’s years of service, he received The Navy and The Marine Corps Achievement Medal, and The Blue Jacket of the Year (2007).

Derrick holds a BS in Business Studies in Accounting from Southern New Hampshire University and an MBA from Fitchburg State University in Accounting.
